Welcome to the SOAN 324 course site

This site contains information about the University of Redlands course: “Hunger & Homelessness in America”, led by Professor Jim Spickard. Please explore our site to see what and how we are learning.

Please also visit our blog. This blog lets students summarize what they are learning about hunger and homelessness in contemporary America and — ideally — engage in conversation with others about these topics.

Each course participant is required to post a substantive, thoughtful, and public comment each week. Anyone is welcome to comment in response.

(We will delete spam and comments that are impolite, irrelevant, or oriented toward anything but reasoned learning.)
