I was in Yokohama for the World Congress of Sociology, working as co-Program Coordinator for the Research Committee on the Sociology of Religion. The conference was intense and I didn't get outside much -- certainly not with my camera. Here are a few scenes, mostly taken while I was walking between the conference center and my hostel. Clearly, the ferris wheel was a hit, but so were the hordes of salarymen going to work each morning. I lovely city; I wish I'd seen more of it.
